Release Date Delayed

The past year has been a rocky road for No Time to Die – it was originally slated for release in April 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic led to it being delayed until November 2020, then further.
No Time to Die has been delayed, as expected. The next James Bond movie has been pushed from April 2 to October 8, marking the third COVID-induced delay for Daniel Craig’s final 007 outing. Taking that as a cue, Sony Pictures has driven back its Cinderella adaptation from February 5 to July 16, hat in turn has pushed Tom Holland-led Uncharted from that July date to February 11, 2022. Ghostbusters: Afterlife, another Sony release, has jumped from June 11 to November 11.

Universal Pictures (Bond’s international distributor) has taken Bob Odenkirk-starrer action thriller Nobody from February 26 to April 2, earlier occupied by No Time to Die. And because of that, Universal has moved Tom Hanks-led sci-fi film Bios from April 16 to August 13. Lastly, Universal-owned Focus Features has delayed Edgar Wright’s next film, the psychological thriller Last Night in Soho, from April 23 to October 22.
- This marks the third delay for Cyberpunk 2077, as the game was originally set to release on the 16th of April, which was then pushed to September 17th, until the developers finally seemed to have.
- Original release date: Dec. 18, 2020 Chaos Walking (March 5, 2021) Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley cause chaos on a planet where all the women have died and thoughts are visible. Even before the.

That’s a lot of release date changes. And you should expect more from Hollywood, given the US box office situation remains depressing with COVID-19 vaccinations proceeding very slowly for the most part. What’s curious though is that Sony Pictures hasn’t moved Morbius (again), that recently jumped from March 19 to October 8. With Bond movie No Time to Die now slated for that October date, don’t think Morbius will arrive in October.
With all these moves, the first quarter of 2021 is (predictably) rapidly emptying. Chaos Walking, the sci-fi film with Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, is the only movie of note on March 5. Given the delays it has already faced, I’d expect Lionsgate to push that into the future — or possibly sell it to a streaming service. Kingsman prequel The King’s Man (March 12) is next on the cards, but it’s again a repeatedly-delayed film. There have been rumours about a Hulu premiere for the film as well.
That would bring us to A Quiet Place Part II, the sequel from returning director John Krasinski, which is poised to depart its April 23 release date any minute now. Next up is Black Widow on the cards, which is a big decision as Marvel must then reorder its entire MCU Phase Four slate that stretches into late 2022. Hp proliant ml110 gen9 drivers download. Variety notes that there’s speculation that F9, the next Fast & Furious entry slated for May 28, will get delayed as well.
Nobody is now slated for April 2, followed by Cinderella on July 16, Bios on August 13, No Time to Die on October 8, Last Night in Soho on October 22, Ghostbusters: Afterlife on November 11, and Uncharted on February 11, 2022.

Blizzard has announced that the World of Warcraft:Shadowlands expansion will be delayed to later this year, while the pre-patch will arrive October 13th.
This isn’t completely unprecedented: the release of The Burning Crusade in 2006 was pushed back to very early 2007 to buy a similar amount of time. What was different? Blizzard made it clear at the time that the delay would only be “a few weeks,” while right now, all we have to go on for the expansion’s release is “later this year.”
Read the full text of the announcement below. And don’t panic.
To the WoW community,
I wanted to let you know that we’re delaying the release of Shadowlands to later this year—and while we’re still in the process of determining the right new date to launch, we felt it was important to let you know about this change in plans as soon as we could. This was an incredibly difficult decision for the team, as we’re as eager to get the expansion into your hands as you are to play it—but ultimately, we feel it’s the right decision for the game—and for our players.
Over the past several months of testing, we’ve made significant progress iterating on and polishing the core features and gameplay of Shadowlands. We’re at a point where the zones, the campaign, the level-up questing experience, and the story we have to tell are essentially ready to share. We’re excited by the Covenants at the heart of the expansion, and it’s been a thrill to see Torghast take shape into a fun new kind of WoW experience, thanks in no small part to your input.
However, as everything started coming together and we’ve been listening to and building upon your feedback, it’s become clear we need a little more time for additional polish, and to balance and iterate on some interlocking pieces—particularly those related to the endgame. Shadowlands is one of the most intricate expansions we’ve yet created, and while we’ve made great progress, the challenge of tuning the endgame was compounded by the team having to work from home.
Blizzard has a commitment to quality. We believe Shadowlands will be something special, and we’ve heard from many of you who feel the same. We need this extra time to ensure that Shadowlands lives up to its full potential.
In the meantime, we’re excited to announce that beginning October 13 we will be releasing the Shadowlands pre-patch, which lays a lot of the groundwork for the expansion and includes our revamped character leveling, new-player experience on Exile’s Reach, and a host of new character customization options. And once we get closer to Shadowlands’ release, you’ll be called upon to defend Azeroth against a resurgence of the Scourge during our pre-launch event.
Thanks for your support and passion, and for your continued help and feedback as we head toward the finish line.
